Graphic Design

Q: What is involved in the design process?
A: Most design projects begin with a creative meeting with the account executive, project manager and the designer who will be working on the project. This meeting is a chance for the client to express any expectations or visions they may have for the project and some creative thinking as a group. Once the project begins, the project manager will maintain contact with the client to collect any needed materials, provide proofs and receive feedback. Once all feedback is submitted to the designer the changes are made and a final proof is provided to the client. If the design project is to be printed, a high-resolution color proof is printed to allow the client to check the color.

Q: Do you use Mac or PCs?
A: We use both. Our project managers use PCs and our designers use Macs.

Q: Are Brand Identity websites competitively priced?
A: Yes. You can probably find cheaper sites out there, but not of the same caliber we provide. Brand Identity is very competitive on pricing for the level of quality, service and expertise you receive with each of our products.

Q: After the website has been created can our company make additional changes or incorporate other elements into our website?
A: Yes our designers can make content and visual changes to your website after it has been completed but the best time to make changes is during the creative process. Our designers can also insert invisible elements into the website that can be activated later if needed. Structural changes can be made after completion but they are more difficult and take more time.

Q: I already have a website but wanted to have some visual elements changed, is that something Brand Identity can do?

Multimedia

Q: What does Multimedia mean?
A: Multimedia is a term used to describe a production that uses multiple forms of content and processing such as text, audio, video, graphics, animation, images and interactivity. The combination of the multiple medias, increases viewer interest and entertainment.

Q: What exactly makes multimedia "green"?
A: Since multimedia productions (websites, InfoShows, Kiosk/touch screen presentations) are completely virtual, they do not create paper waste and do not require limited paper resources. In addition, distribution can be more environmentally friendly. Where a paper direct mail campaign must be mailed, it creates exhaust from mail trucks and even airplanes. Multimedia can be distributed in many ways but a direct mail campaign can be accomplished using email as the vehicle.

Q: How do touch screens work?
A: Touch screens technology does not require the purchase of a new expensive computer but rather operate on a traditional PC or Mac computer using special software and a touch screen that attaches to the face of most computer or TV screens.
